Don't know if this is the correct part of the forum to post such question in, but since it appears to be a question about security I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm developing a blog, users can sign in to it an write new entries. Now, the problem is that I want users to be able to use line breaks, and preferable only by pressing the enter button on the keyboard. If that is not possible, by inserting a <br /> tag into the post.
1. Is it possible to transform the click of the enter button into actual line breaks or not? If it is, how do I do it?
2. If above isn't possible, how do I write a regular expression which blocks everything except for "<br />" and normal text?
