I am
relatively new to asp.net and work in an organisation that uses Oracle database.
I have
successfully used Visual Web Developer to connect to an Oracle database to
retrieve data.
Can you
however use the Oracle data providers from Oracle in Visual Web Developer to
allow you automatically generate tables for the site management data, users,
passwords etc. (like Visual
Web Developer normally does with SQL tables).
I like the
idea of using Asp.net configuration tool to do this.
I have
tried installing the Data Access Components for Oracle Client but it asks for
Visual Studio and doesn?t install the necessary components into Visual Web Developer.
Do you have
to upgrade to the full version of Visual Studio?
Do you know
of any tutorials or can you offer any advice in how to proceed with this.
