I've added validation controls against my 7 dropdown lists and 1 text box on my page to ensure that my users select / type into the controls before submiting their information.
I've also put these 8 controls in the pageValidationGrp -- which I've also put the cmdSubmit button in as well.
I've tried the one textbox control by leaving it blank and submiting a test record and it went through without prompting the error message.
