I have an application where we have public pool of emails.
Users can schedule eblast to any number of emails from the public pool.
But only one email is sent per day per person.
So now if User A is scheduling an email blast, then the selected emails should be locked until he is done(no more than 10mins). So that the same emails are not used by User B for that selected day.
I thought of using Application variable to store the selected emails with date. And check the Application variable if the email is already in use.
And remove the emails from Application variable when the eblast schedule is queued in the Database table.
Is there a better way to do this? Will this effect the performance?
