Getting started with ASP.Net

Hi

I am new to ASP.Net web development but i have worked in VB.Net Desktop application.So any suggetions on this how can I start it as i am in Web development project and need some help abour the Master pages,Content pages ..etc basically the artchitecture to develop a good web site.any sites that I can refer for.
