This is probably a fairly simple and common task, but it is my first time so be gentle.
I am building a routine where a user uploads and image, then the image is cropped and resized. I have lots of code for the uploading and the cropping and the resizing so that is no problem. But I have decided to centralize this so I can use this code from a number of places on my website.
My thinking is that I create an ImageHandler.ashx page where all the code rests. Then, after selecting and uploading the original file I hand off the filename and path to the image handler. I have a working fileupload with button and the code is shown below (so simple it is heartbreaking).
Now what I want to do is call the ashx in a popup window so the user can crop the image. However I cannot seem to figure out how to call the ashx file in a popup window using VB.NET. (no C# please). Now if I was in the least talented I would likely figure out how to do all of this on ...
