I have been asked to temporarily add a few static pages to an *.asp website.
Is it possible to upload an index.htm in the same dir as the asp site
and more important, that the index.htm will show up when you open the
domain in a browser?
Suggestions are much appreciated.

ps. I do have FTP/DATABASE permissions but don't have access to the root of the
web server. I can imagine that these sort of things are described in a
.htaccess file. Is that correct?
