validation controls in master page and content page

Hi
I am using a small query form on master page with validation controls. It is fine untill I go to contactus page, 
where there is also a form with validation controls. When I click submit button then it triggers the validations of
master page also.
What is the solution so that none of the two forms triggers other's validation controls.
