I have a problem that i have looked everywhere to try and find a solution and still no luck so have signed up here hoping to get some suggestions.
I've got a Master Page that has a update panel surrounding the "ContentPlaceHolder", this is so that i can load controls into the page on a button (LinkButton) without a full page refresh. So basically the whole site will work off one page that gets refreshed ASYNC with new user controls. I have got this part to work fine, however i have come stuck when i have a user control that has a button with a onclick event for it. When this control is loaded the control shows fine but when the button is clicked nothing happens, and if clicked again then the page will do a PostBack which will remove the current user control.
I have used the IE developer toolbar to identify that there is no onclick event tied to the button within the usercontrol (Although it is present in the code!). I then built up ...
