Issue 1:
I've seen the ASP.NET video explaining encrypting the connection string using a button event. My website will be entirely database driven with sensitive info and potentially accessed by many users at the same time for inserting, updating or deleting info from their accounts which will use forms authentication. I'm wondering if i can encrypt on page load or better yet, on application load in global.aspx or is there a better way? Or, do I even need to use encryption if I'm implementing membership and roles using ASP's login control.
Issue 2:
The user will use data controls based on 3-4 tables where
