I got a CSV file with almost 4 million records, and I'm used to working in Access but it can't handle this amount of data. A friend suggested I try SQL Express 2012.
Please bear with me as I have never used SQL before and I am completely and utterly in over my head. I am an IT professional, but know nothing about SQL. This is a personal project, so I don't have access to any folks with SQL experience for
it.
I imported the data, but it imported everything as varchar(50). I tried to reimport using suggested data types, but the import fails every time.
I have tried to change the data types but I get the message below:
"Saving changes is not permitted. The changes you have made require the following tables to be dropped and re-created. You have either made changes to a table that can't be re-created or enabled the option Prevent saving changes that require
