Issue: How to validate non-english characters?
I am validating book title fileld.
Book titile should always start with alphabets. Below is a code snippet for the same.
<asp:RegularExpressionValidator ID="title" ValidationGroup="CreateTitle" ToolTip="Title should start with an alphabet." ValidationExpression="^[A-Za-z].*$" runat="server" Text="!" ErrorMessage="Title should start with an alphabet." Display="Dynamic" ControlToValidate="txtTitle" meta:resourcekey="TitleResource"></asp:RegularExpressionValidator>
However above regular expression fails for chinese characters. Is there any way by which I can validate characters of all the languages?
or any workaround for the same?
thanks for y ...
