I've added a DropDownList containing all user roles:
DropDownList rolesList = (DropDownList)CreateUserWizard1.CreateUserStep.ContentTemplateContainer.FindControl("RolesList");
String[] roles = Roles.GetAllRoles();
rolesList.DataSource = roles;
rolesList.DataBind();
rolesList.Items.Insert(0,"---");In CreateUserWizard1_CreatedUser method I need to take the selected value (user's role) but I'm having problems to read selected value of 'rolesList'. However I tried to retrieve the value I got the same result - the selected index is 0.
Can somebody please help me to understand why I can't get selected index? Why it always says that I selected the first item?
