Problem exporting Hungarian names to .csv

I am trying to export data from a gridview to an excel spreadsheet. The data contains peoples names, many of which are foreign and contain special characters with accents etc. When I open the .csv file in Excel, I get Á instead of Á and é instead of é. I am opening the file in excel using Data > Import External Data > Import Data > File Origin: 65001:Unicode UTF-8
