I have a web service which must have "write" access in order to complete it's job successfully.
When I run it with the Visual Studio 2008 Development server, it completes it's job successfully (the process which hosts the web service has Full control). However, when I use the local IIS and host the web service under w3wp.exe, I see that even if I run it under the Service or an Administrator I have only read and execute rights.
Is there a way to elavate the w3wp rights?
if not, how can I approach this problem?
By the way, I need to be able to resolve this issue on Microsoft Server 2003 (eventually I want to host the web service on a windows 2003 machine).
Thanks,
Kobi.
