help needed with a generate_wysiwyg in a detailsview

I am trying to use a wysiwyg in a detailsview.... I havve the following java in both the Insert and update templates of the dView. when I run the update or insert all other fields work fine, however this one field is not inserted or updated. When I remove the javascript then it works fine.. what am i doing worng?
