We are developing a web application and planning to access its SQL database remotely using Management Studio. We have a desktop application that accesses the web database to manage admin functionalities
of the application. Is this a good idea?
Also, we have daily batch jobs that need to be scheduled. Can this be done using the SQL server on the web? Can scheduling be done using the Management studio from desktop if we have the right
version? Is this also a good idea? If so which version is recommended?
Any ideas, suggestions are welcome
