I have a question on which version of SQL Server 2012 should I install in my Windows 8 Laptop. I saw that it can be installed in Windows 8 but not sure what files to download. My requirement is like this..
I am a new bie in SQL Server and DOTNET and I am using thsi SQL Server instance to just learn ADO.NET and ASP.NET and SQL Server on my laptop. My OS is Windows 8 64 Bit.
So for that I need a Management Studio so that I can create,Edit and delete the Databases using a UI window.
Also I should be able to connect through the ASP.NET sites and ADO.NET to my SQL Server on my local Machine.
So all in all, I need a Dev env for SQL Server 2012 to be set up so that I can practie and learn the above technologies ASAP .
Kindly point me out on what files are to be downloaded and in what order is to be installed. Does SQL Server Express suffice my needs? as I am not going to work on heavy Databases? Can I download a ...
