Using the ASPNET membership module, is there a simple way of locking out non-adminstrators during a shutdown period? At the end of the shutdown, one of the administrators would clear the lockout flag thus allowing all users on again.
I can see a way of enforcing the rule within the user control used on all the user pages, however I would prefer to to make the change just within the login page.
