Membership Provider extend not working on hosting provider - works on DEV SERVER in VS 2008

Hey,

I have extended the membership provider and tested the validate() method locally using VS 2008 development server. Everything is working. I am using an Access database for login. However, when I upload the project to my hosting provider, the login page just says INVALID USERNAME AND PASSWORD for a valid username/pw combo. There are no application errors or server errors or anything like that. The app runs perfectly well. It's just that validation is not happening and for all valid username/pw combo, I get invalid username and password error.

 Can someone help me out here please?
