I am working on a new project, which involves creating a new application using a new customized membership provider and the entity framework.
Multiple internal but public facing will need to use this
I'm a bit unsure in how to go about writing some sort of middle man web service that holds this provider. The plan is to have a number of applications, public facing web apps and mobile apps, to use this authentication service. I've looked at WCF, but i do believe WCF shouldnt be used for this. Can this be accomplished using the new asp.net web api? I've not looked into it too much yet.
Any suggestions much appreciated.
