I'm trying to develop an web based MVC 2 Membership app in VS 2010,  on asp.net 3.5 framework, and deploying at Readyhosting.com (supports up to 3.5 .net).  I build and publish the app to a directory on my development machine, and then ftp the files up to my staging server at my hosting company.  However, when I test the app, I get an error in "c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config".  That's a local config file, and it doesn't exist on the machine I'm testing from!  However, it might be on the machine on which I developed the app.  How is this possible?  Where is the web app on my staging server getting this "machine.config" file?  I'd edit it if I knew where to look.  Very confusing.
