Value for label assigned dinamically not rendered

Hello all,

 i have a problem...

 I make a WebUserControl in my website, which have the objective of make pagination of records extracted from a SQL query...

I would use this control all time and in any page i need , simply sending SQL string

 I make a subin this WebUserControl where i do all i need....exatcly, it render a table with all page number for pagination...

 Now...my problem is it not render the value assigned in this sub to a text properties of a label control...

I try to put all code in Page_Load event, and it run !....but because i would use this USerContro for all page, i cannot use Page_Load event...

 

Why my value is not rendered ????
