Hi all,
I have studied CS (still know a fair bit of C++ and OO) but I'm an incredible noob when it comes to C# and Vis Studio '08, but my question relates to both of these subjects:
I'm trying to calculate a normal date (DateTime type) from a gregorian date (using the GregorianCalendar type).I pretty much have that covered, but now I want to convert a string (a number typed in a textbox) to a GregorianCalender object, which I'll then convert into a DateTime-object and from there on all will be good, teh sun will shine and people will dance through the streets and brign me flowers, congratulating me with this update to this tiny but useful program. Oh and spring will commence and hence the frozen river will start thawing, people will no longer have runny noses all thanks to me (and you guys/gals)
