Hi there,
We need to the user to open a UNC path using credentials which are different to the users logon.
We thought we'd be able to create a basic page with content editor web
part, get the user to sign in to sharepoint with the admin credentials
required to open the UNC path - then click a normal hyperlink to
file://UNCpath and have this open with the required permissions.
This however didn't work (tested on both winXP and win2003)..
Is there another way this could be done?
Really need some advice around this if you have any ideas?
