I'm using Forms Authentication in our site. That works fine. The web.config forwards all non-authenticated traffic to our User Sign in page. In that signin page, we make the determination to send to the Access Denied page or not. But the user signin page should only be hit if the user is not authenticated
However, when we leave a browser (logged in) open and open an MS Word document in the site, and click on links (which go back to different pages in the site itself ), the user is sent back to our User Sign in page, although User.Identity.IsAuthenticated is True.
I'm stumped - it should just go straight to the link.
Can someone help me with what is happening here, and how to look at it and get it going correctly? What should I be looking for?
