I have been banging my head off this one for some time and was hopeing someone could help me with it here.
I have a sceneario where I need to validate a SAML message received from a third party. They have provided me a cert to be used to validate the document. The docuemnt has two signature element relatinf to the Response Element and the Assertion Element.
I use a CustomIdSignedXml object to override the GetIdElement property whcih is required in this scenario as the IDs are AssertionID for the assertion element and ResponseID for the response element
I have written some code to do this as shown below.
