I am relatively new to encryption. For one of my application, we need to implement encryption big time. For this, I need a good resource which explains encryption (NOT SQL SERVER BASED) in detail (inluding Hash, Salt, IV etc). Second, we
also have the following requirements:
1. Either using Symmetric and Asymmetric encryption, is there an algorithm which produces different encrypted value everytime? For example, Let us say
ID-1 is stored in the database after encryption (that is fixed ofcourse). However, after encryption, if we use this ID in a querystring (for editing, deleting etc), everytime it shows up differently
in the URL - something similar to the following:
../mysite/show.aspx?id=asdfasd2lkj345l45lj5kl3455lj345jlj45j34l5j3kj53kl45jl345lk345k345
