I have several questions on a subject that I am not very familiar with.
Within Visual Studio 2010 C#, I have a custom control which can have multiple instances on a web page at any one time.
The questions are these:
1. What is the best way to populate these custom controls. At the moment I have something like:
var Results = sqlStuff.MyLibary(); //To get stuff from the DB
//Then i create the control
CustomControl myCustomControl1 = new CustomControl();
//Create a PlaceHolder to put it
PlaceHolder myPlaceHolder = new PlaceHolder();
//Now step threw each one of the results
foreach (var item in Results)
{
myCustomControl1.lbNameOnControl = item.lbNameText;
myCustomControl1.ImageOnControl = item.ImageURL;
