HyperlinkField

Hi friends
I have got a problem while using VWD 2005.
I m using Gridview to show data. I've used a hyperlinkfield (It is shown in Edit Column SmartTag Menu) for nevigating to that record. When I click the link, it goes to another page and shows the detail record properly.
Code is :
<asp:HyperLinkField Text="More" DataNavigateUrlFields="ID" DataNavigateUrlFormatString="~/places/Details.aspx?ID={0}" />
But when I use it in code behind file, it shows me error.
Value of type '2-dimensional array of String' cannot be converted to '1-dimension

Code behind is :
Dim Hyp As New HyperLinkField
        Hyp.DataNavigateUrlFields = "ID" I get the error here..
