Write out a series of html from database

Hi,
I have a page, which when it loads, I want to write a bunch of html tags and data from database fields such as:
"<head><title>" + titlefromdatabase + "</title></head>"
etc etc
and for rest of the page content.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on this?
