Im wondering if there is some built in function in c# that will let me calculate teh numeric value of a letter or visa versa.
For example take the number 5 and determine that it e is the fifth letter in the alphabet.
Or take the letter c and determine that it is the the 3rd letter of the alphabet and therefore equal to 3.
I know I can built my own methods to do this Im just wondering if there is some simpler way.
