best possible way to reading xml file and binding it to gridview...

Hi,
I have to display results into gridview. For this i am getting XML file from database ( its file size is above 1 MB and can reach upto 10 MB).
I am reading that XML file and binding that to gridview.
But its response time is slow.
Please suggest me best possible way to reading xml file and binding it to gridview...
so my response time will shot.
