If you where designing a new database centric website, where programming time should be held to a minimum but the design still should be able to last 5+ years. What kind of patterns, architectures and technology would you use and do you know of a demo or open source project that is designed the way you would design it?......if you where to start coding today........would you use Stored procedures/dynamic sql......linq? entity framework? .....would you go with sharepoint......would you use the membership/roles/profile stuff or build your own? Would you use mvc? would you use silverlight?......is there any sample stuff out there that is close to how you would do it?
