I have made a dB tree menu work, where upon page load it will populate the menu tree per the row in the dB. I have setup a custom admin page based on ASP.Net authentication and it works for setting up users and roles. My manager wants this menu to load dynamically after login, which depending on the role of the user it will populate the menu structure. Within the source table we may have multiple same item lines, but with different effects, basically same url's with different functions or with different placement within the menu tree. I have found a video on setting up a sitemap with security trimming, but this is also based on folder access where the folder exists under the root admin webpage. The problem I have is my documentation resides on a different server than the web server, along with a few apps that have not yet been coverted to web form.
