hi,i am developing an application where i need to display images of staff in a grid view. the staff ids are in the form of say GG12354. so what i do is that when creating a new staff, i upload the staff images (and rename the image to the staffs id) into a folder and when i databind to a gridview i use something like:
<img alt='<%# Eval("firstname") %>' src='../staffimages/<%# Eval("employeeid") %>.jpg' style="border:0px;width:20px;height:20px" />
and this works fine, the images display in the gridview.
But, now the company has changed their staff id format to something like GG/12354. they added d "/" character to the id. this is no longer working, please what can i do.
