I have these 2 files on IIS web server:-
(1) Ms Access mdb file holding address. (2) Ms Word with label mail merge datasource = file in (1)
If I open Ms Word using my PC directly (as admin) I can merge these labels correctly.
Then, on ASP.Net page, I have a link button to open up file in (2), ie the Ms Word.
However, when users (not me) click linkbutton to open up the same file in (2), it can be opened but the mail merge buttons are all greyed out.
I already granted access rights to everyone, ASP.Net, Network, Network Services, Admin, Guest to both mdb and that doc file.
What am I missing ? Pls help. It seems the connection from Ms Word file to Ms Access is lost when user open the Ms Word file. Pls help...
