We are doing a project in asp.net with sql 2005. This module is a Reporting module. One of our master table has millions of records (client requirement is to maintain 10 years data). For example the columns are Company_Id, Year_Id. Ofcourse this is not a transaction table but a master table.
So whenever we do any join with this table (the only possible "where" conditions are company id and year id) it is taking lot of time because of the huge data in the master table. We tried all possibilities of indexing etc. Is there any other way we can come out of this issue?
