I am using a string writer to export the contents of a grid view to an excel spreadsheet. It works great BUT if the user chooses the "Open" option it replaces the current Internet Explorer display with the Excel similar display. The user can not get back to the ASP without restating the ASP application.
Is there a way of opening the spreadsheet display in a new tab on Internet Explorer?
