I have a aspx page in which I add user controls to a placeholder through a loop
for(int i=0; i<2; i++)
{
control usercontrol = loadcontrol("mycontrol.ascx");
PlaceHolder1.Controls.Add(usercontrol);
}
This loads two user controls to the page at run time.
My user control contains 2 text boxes (txtFirstName and txtLastName)
I have added the following code to the ascx code behind

}
}
public getLastName

return txLastName.Text.ToString();
