On an asp.net webform (using VS2008 C#), I have a user control that consists of a textbox and a asp:calendar control.
When the user picks a date on the calendar, the textbox is populated with that date - fine, it all works great.

I want to capture that selection event so that I can validate the date selected for that user; however, I have had no luck and I suspect it is because I'm alread using the textChanged and SelectionChanged events in the user control????

I have tried adding it in the aspx page on the user control with onclick, onchange, ontextchanged, onselectionchanged.  I also tried adding it with each of the events in the codebehind, with Calendar.Attributes.Add(....  But none of these are hitting my function or triggering a custom validation event.

If I haven't provided enough information, please let me know]  Any suggestions will be very much appreciated!!  Thanks.
