I have a sms api from a sms provider company from which i have bought the sms package.
I want to integrate this with asp.net application
I want to send the sms on click of a button
API is in the form of a url like this:
http://www.smscompanyname/sendsms/newsms.php?user=userid&pwd=password&to=%MESSAGERECIPIENT%&msg=%MESSAGEDATA%
when executing this link from internet explorer sms is being sent and this is returning true or false in the same window.
Now instead of opening this in a window i want to call this on press of a button and display status message on same page based on this link sending me true or false.
Please suggest how to call this api link on click of a button
