Hi,

I would like to be able to press a help button and a pop up would appear with the correct information.
I went through numerous pages about passing values from parent to child and vice-versa. Sadly, I tried and I don't understand anything.
I use window.open('url', ...stuff)
I read somewhere that it is the child that gets the value from the parent. I also saw window.opener...
but i don't know what to do with it.

Other examples I saw were about forms but I just want the ID of my button to be passed so my pop up can look in my database and retrieve the correct database information.

Here is my current code

In my parent

<script type="text/javascript">

    function mypopup()
{ var winpop = window.open('dinner/help/', null, 'left = 400, top =100, height = 250, width = 250, status = ...

Go to the complete details ...
