Hi,
I have a dropdown and its AutoPostBack property set to True. I have textbox on my page.
When the page loads the dropdown gets loaded with the data and gets focus. Getting focus to dropdown is a must based on business rules.
Now consider a scenario, where as a user, I do not want to change the selection in the dropdown  (i.e what ever the value gets selected I do not change it to another option) but I just want to get the foucs on the text box and start typing. But when I get the focus to the TextBox there is a page refresh becuase of the AutoPostBack=true of the dropdown and it is posting back the page and as a result what ever I had typed in the textbox I am loosing the text and also loosing the focus.

Now what I am trying to do is:
