I have an issue with validation controls that MAY be a bug or maybe a working as intended feature. (I noticed similar functionality in the signup form when I created my account on this site, so I bet it is functionality.)
I have your basic registration webform, with typical Name, Username, password (and 2nd verification password). At the end of each input field I place an appropriate verification control, such as RequiredValue, Comparison, etc. I've noticed that if I violate the rules of the verification control, then change focus the "Text" of the message is displayed for the control. So for example, if I type text into 1 password field, and then tab to the 2nd password field, the error message "Passwords must match." is shown, even though the user hasn't been given a chance to type the second password yet.
Is this a bug? If not, is there anyway to disable this focus-prompted vai ...
