Hi, I am working on a new web application that enable the user to add a text elements on the screen, drag them, change font color and style of each text block and then I would like to send all the information to the server (and create an image file with all of the text blocks on it) most of the user actions are being made in the client side, my questions are:
1. do I need to use the asp.net script manager in my page ?
2. should I create a JavaScript object/class for the text blocks that contain all the information and properties for each text block ?
3. how can I send all of the JavaScript objects that I have been created to the server side ? using JSON ? are there any better ways ? is it the common way ?
4. I would like to allow resizing of the text elements (exactly as in MS Word text blocks, how can I do that ?
