Postback inside modal dialog

Hi,
I have a user control with 2 parts: textbox with a search button; a listview showing result from search
When I click search, the result should be shown in ListView control
I put this user control inside a Panel used in ModelExtender ajax toolkit control.
I put this modelextender inside another form.
When I open this modal dialog, I click search button. The event click does not occur inside search user control.
What problem with it ?
Is there any idea about it ?
