I have a form with 2 text boxes txtDate1, txtDate2, one label control lblMessage and a save button btnSave.
On btnsave click the txtDate1 and txtDate2 must not be empty. When i enter the right date and click the save button everything works fine and a
message gets displayed in the label "Records saved". Everything is fine so far. Right now the lblMessage has the text "Records saved".

Next time when I enter a wrong value a validation summary gets displayed with the error message that is fine
but I want my lblMessage to display nothing. The lblMessage text "Records Saved" is still visible
along with the validation summary

What is the best possible way to do this. I tried adding some code in the code behind but the button click event handler never gets
raised once there is validation error.
