Hello everyone,
21 years old, been working as a programmer for a year and 1/2.  I'm looking to further my understanding of .NET, and API's are of special interest to me... although not my only interest in area of growth.
I'm looking for a good book... but a google search seems to turn up more old books than anything else.

This book: Visual Basic Programmer's Guide to the Win32 API
At this link: http://www.visualbasicbooks.com/advanced.html
Seems interesting, however it was written in 1999!! I can only imagine that programming in VS.NET 2008, it would be better to get a more up-to-date version of this.
Any good suggestions?
Thanks!
