We have a site that had a custom dashboard, within that dashboard we have a section that lists out the last 5 searches performed by other users.. nothing fancy, just an over view of the terms or data searched on within this application. Right now its just setup to display and there is no functionality. But was looking to add a link to the search value in that list and send that to our search page and execute the same search.
Currently within my search page i already resubmit searches, but would like to see the best way to do this from another page.. would i use sessions? querystring? can the data be posted to that page as in the past with classic asp?
Just looking for the most optimal way to click a link on page 1 and have it load page 2 using those values..
